For School Board District 3

I am running for re-election in 2024 for the Indian River County School Board District 3 seat.

With more than 35 years as an educator and administrator in Indian River County, as well as a parent of children who graduated from our public high schools, I am passionate about student success. I am also very supportive of all who serve our school district; whether you're a teacher, support staff member, district or administrative staff, please know that you all matter.

My objective for my re-election is to afford each student, regardless of background, an opportunity to not only achieve success, but also realize every one of them can be successful. Education is about all children beginning with Pre-K and culminating with graduation, and these very crucial years of teaching and learning help shape and mold our children's futures.

Indian River County is a community that deserves excellent schools and leadership. Schools are communities within themselves where students and adults learn to become a cohesive unit. Achieving this cohesive unit is important for academic achievement, and our extra-curricular activities just add to the balance our students need to be well-rounded.
